Overview

Add RS-232 serial communication support to USB-C laptops or desktops using this 6.6ft (2m) USB-C to DB9 serial adapter cable.

Serial Port Expansion

The adapter adds an RS-232 DB9 male connector through a USB Type-C port. The cable improves reach to serial equipment and supports cleaner routing behind desks, workstations, kiosks, or service benches. Secure it with pre-installed removable DB9 screws or install the included DB9 nuts for expanded compatibility with serial peripherals.

LED Indicators

Transmit, Receive, and USB LEDs show activity and host recognition for faster setup and at-a-glance troubleshooting.

Seamless Connectivity

The FTDI-based adapter supports Windows, macOS, ChromeOS, and Linux. Driver auto-install and COM retention help maintain serial access after reboots or reconnects.

Molded TPE housing adds rugged protection against flexing and wear, while the Level-4 ESD (15kV air/8kV contact) protection helps protect connected devices from static discharge.
